Staying at the Caribou Lodge in Banff was truly a wonderful experience. The accommodations were lovely and the location ideal. There is a very nice restaurant and bar in the hotel but there are also many options just a walk away. We were also provided with a pass to ride the public Roam transportation to various attractions and up and down the main street. This was extremely helpful as the parking and traffic in the Banff area is very challenging and parking limited. I would highly recommend this location and we do plan on returning in the future.

The person that checked us in tried to sell us a ticket up the gondola even though the visibility was terrible. It felt like they were working on commission.
The room was nice, but it is an aging facility. The toilet required a handle jiggle to stop it running. The TV didn't work. Pizza boxes and cleaning supplies were left in the hallway. One of the staircases had a broken light on the floor.
