This Lovely Cottage sitting on one of the most desirable streets in South Torrance, this home is one of the famed "Story book Houses" with pitched roof, quaint front porch and white picket fence. These homes evoke a charming feeling of yester-year, reminiscent of a simpler time of authenticity, . Downstairs you'll find a remodeled country kitchen with chef's grade appliances (Viking stove, Sub-Zero fridge), wine fridge, living room with fireplace, dining area, family room, two bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Upstairs are two more bedrooms and another bathroom. Think the house is great? The back yard is amazing! There are multiple access points to the huge backyard featuring a built in outdoor kitchen with BBQ, refrigerator and sink, stamped concrete, spa, and eight foot deep pool with diving board. This home is a short walk to Sea-Aire Golf Course, and the most festive Christmas holiday lights display the South Bay has to offer and 2 miles drive to the Torrance Beach or 3 miles to Redondo Beach

The home was in a nice, quiet neighborhood. We had a great stay here. If I had one critique, it would be that the upstairs bathroom was small. Our kids loved the pool and hot tub, and there was plenty of space in the rest of the home.

TLDR: Find a better place.I’m truly surprised this house has such high reviews because our experience was very different. I only expect the basics from a VRBO, a clean, reasonably maintained home. If the owners repaired or replaced what needed attention, it could be nice. Until then, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.Pros:*Quiet neighborhood*Fans in most rooms (no AC)*Nice washer/dryer*Nice poolCons:*Nearly everything was dirty or in disrepair*Upstairs shower drain was badly clogged and unusable*Oven wouldn’t reach 200 after 45 minutes; had to use grill to finish cooking*Dirty grill utensils and dirty cookware*Kitchen was poorly stocked with random, mismatched items and insufficient cutlery*Bedroom window doesn’t stay open, broken/squeaky fans, creaky uncomfortable beds*Faint gas smell in downstairs bedroom*Many repairs were clearly patched with tape/paint instead of fixed properly*Patio furniture was rusty, sharp, and broken*Diving board base was heavily rusted with loose screws*Only 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom for 6 people for 9 nights*Early check-in was denied due to “cleaning” yet the house clearly hadn’t been cleaned well*Late checkout request due to our daughter’s surgical complication denied with no flexibility*Cleanliness was unacceptable: dirty bathrooms, stained linens, dirty walls, spider webs*Neighbor’s camera points directly at the side entrance, felt invasive*Three packages were delivered during our stay, very weird
