Welcome to Island Tower 1702, a newly updated 3-bedroom, 3-bath condominium located in the heart of Gulf Shores, AL, directly on the pristine sugar white sand of the Gulf of Mexico. This spacious 17th-floor unit offers an incredible view from the large balcony off the living room, where you can enjoy stunning sights of the Gulf's sparkling waters and breathtaking sunsets.
The primary bedroom and one guest room each feature a king bed, both with private baths. The master bath includes a separate shower and jetted tub, while the guest bath offers a tub/shower combination. The third bedroom has a queen bed and its own private bath with a tub/shower combination.

The location truly could not have been better—everything you could want is within walking distance, including restaurants, shopping, ice cream, and bars. The view from the balcony was amazing and one of our favorite parts of the trip.The condo itself was exactly as described and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The parking garage was easy and we never had any issues finding a spot. The building has two elevators, which worked well most of the time. The only delay we experienced was during Saturday check-in when everyone was arriving at once—we waited about 20 minutes one time, but otherwise had no issues.We did run into a small hiccup at check-in because our door code was initially sent blank, but after calling, the management team responded quickly and resolved it right away. They were very helpful and easy to reach throughout our stay.One inconvenience was needing an extra parking pass, which required a 15-minute drive to pick up. Not a huge deal, but something to be aware of.The only real downside—and unfortunately a significant one—was the beds. We had read previous reviews mentioning this and hoped it might have been addressed, but it hasn’t. The mattresses were very uncomfortable: extremely springy, noisy, and offered little support, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Overall, a fantastic condo in an unbeatable location with incredible views. If beds were upgraded I would absolutely stay again with 5 stars!

The location is wonderful. Check-in was seamless. We were able to check-in at 12:30 which was great, however, the cleanliness of the condo was lacking. There was sand on the floors throughout the condo, the kitchen cabinets are damaged, there was dust on the walls, the sofas were so stained and dirty that I had to put a blanket on the sofa before we sat on it. Also, the coffee table was about to fall apart, the carpets were stained. The refrigerator advertised is the not the refrigerator in the condo. There is no ice maker and only has two ice trays, which were empty when we arrived. There are no ice machines on property. When we called about it we were told to go get ice. I did email Gulf2Beach upon check-in and I was told someone would call me. I still have not received a call. Would not stay again.
