This apartment is located on the same street as the "Santa María la Antigua Metropolitan Cathedral Basilica," whose Renaissance-style architecture dates back to 1688, making it one of the oldest structures in the city. Just one street away from Independence Square.
On the first floor of the same building, there’s a Subway. A few blocks away, you’ll find Café Unido and Sisu Coffee Studio, where you can enjoy excellent coffee and exquisite pastries while sitting at sunset and soaking up Panama’s warm climate. We also recommend La RANA DORADA and Blue Moon TapHouse for craft beer tastings. If you’re in the mood for mimosas at sunset and a delicious meal surrounded by greenery on a charming outdoor terrace, be sure to visit MAHALO cocina y jardín. For a simple meal and some great mojitos, head to CASCO BURGER. For a good pizza, we recommend Calicanto Trattoria. If you’re looking for a night of nonstop fun, check out LA TANA, CASA JAGUAR, or the rooftop at TANTALO.

Modern apartment beautifully decorated and well equipped near main plaza in Old Town. Only issue was one wall bordered on club with VERY loud music weekend nights.

Well appointed apartment with all the amenities described on the website.Pros: Secure, safe with restaurants, bar and museums. Security police everywhere so it felt safe to walk all through Cacsca Viejo.Cons:Apartment #4 bedroom wall shared with noisy neighbor/business.Loud music thumping till 1am and then again at 6am??No hot water in shower. Only luke warm to cold.

We enjoyed Casco Viejo more than PanCity. It's safe to walk around at night more than other parts of town. We hired a driver to take us to Anton Valley and to PorteBello. I recommend both places. Good restaurants in Casco and museums. It's a nice walk to the city along the bay frontage. It's also a nice walk out to the end of Amador Causeway.

There is a vey loud disco next door that operated about 3 nights per week. Music at night was loud, but the problem was clean up crew that would come in between 5:30 and 6:30 AM, and they cranked up the music for an hour or more. Bring the best ear plugs you can find. We found them at a Pharmacy close to the ocean in the old city.
