Visit Dyranut and Kjeldebu or hike up Hardangerjøkulen, one of the most beautiful viewpoints between Eidfjord and Ulvik. The nearby Vøringsfossen waterfall offers a spectacular natural spectacle. The Hardangervidda Museum in Eidfjord offers exciting insights into the wildlife of northern Europe's largest mountain plateau.



In winter, the region turns into a paradise for winter sports enthusiasts with the Syssendalen ski centre and groomed cross-country ski trails right on the doorstep. You can also explore the area on foot, by bike or in a kayak on guided tours organised by Flath Earth Adventures. The Hardangerfjord, the charming village of Eidfjord and sights such as Mikkelparken Kinsarvik, Folgefonna National Park and Trolltunga are also worth a visit.
