Description:
Casa do Avô Manuel – Where tradition becomes comfort!
Casa do Avô Manuel was created as a heartfelt tribute by the owners to the grandfather who gave it its name — a place designed to welcome, share and create memories, just as he always did.
With 5 cosy bedrooms (4 with double beds and 1 with two single beds), the house can accommodate 10 adults, with the possibility of 2 extra beds for children, making it ideal for large families or groups of friends.
Inside, you will find a fully equipped kitchen, two comfortable living rooms, free Wi-Fi, heating and a fireplace, perfect for colder days and evenings spent in good company.
Outside, you are invited to relax and unwind: a pleasant seating area, saltwater swimming pool, spacious outdoor kitchen for group meals, barbecue, ping-pong table and a large garden with sun loungers, where time slows down and rest comes naturally.
Located in Valença do Minho, a few kilometres from Spain, Casa do Avô Manuel is the ideal starting point for discovering Minho and Galicia, so close by, and enjoying nature, gastronomy and conviviality.
Here, every stay is a celebration of family, roots and good times.

This house has everything you need! We stayed as a family and found the facilities really good.
The pool was great and had plenty of spaces for us all to sit and lounge.
My only recommendations would be maybe some mattress toppers or new mattresses as we all found the beds quite uncomfortable.
I’d also recommend oiling the doors as they are quite squeaky and loud! We were worried about waking up the children.
