Great renovations, great location, easy to find.

The host was super sweet when j needed to contact her when we had no service to access check in instructions. Tip: screen shot them before you arrive. The house could definitely be cleaner, there were several dishes that weren’t properly cleaned by the previous guests and the main shower needed a good scrub. But there was a herd of elk that spent the night in the neighbors’ yard and that was fantastic fun for everyone!

Great place for our family to stay. Lots of room for kids to run around outside. Nice hot baths/showers. Big washer/dryer, games for kids, room with big tvs up and down stairs. Saw momma and baby moose. Used as a base to be able to hit all the spots we wanted to go to.

Maintenance issues: Broken kitchen drawer. Large hole in the wall from the door handle hitting it. Missing levers to open and close blinds. Cleaning issues: Dirty sock under a dining table. Food crumbs on the table and chairs. Sticky tape on the carpet. Food in the silverware drawer. Dirty dishes. Other things you should list about the property: Having a kitchen counter top that you can’t place anything on without a coaster or mat. No shoes in the house. Neither of these rules are great for kids or teens. I’m OCD but also practical. A home needs to be livable. Finally, having to do your dishes to the point of putting them away is neither sanitary or convenient. I understand loading and starting the dishwasher. But if you have to wait for it to complete its cycle so you can put them away, you’re sitting around waiting while unable to use dishes. Plus, how do I know the last person didn’t just rinse theirs and put them away. I prefer a cleaner to verify that they were run through a dishwasher cycle. In spite of all that, the property is beautiful and the main floor with the master bedroom is beautiful. It is up 7 steps so if you can’t do steps, this house won’t work for you. The remaining 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom are down a similar set of stairs. The house is large enough to accommodate several people. The downstairs rooms do hear the upstairs noise. Good location close to town. I would recommend for larger groups who are okay with the rules and level of cleanliness.
