The living room serves as a peaceful sanctuary for relaxation, featuring restful sofas, a television, an original fireplace, and traditional beamed ceilings. The kitchen and dining area is fully equipped for all your culinary needs, boasting a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, and all necessary cookware and silverware. A quaint dining table with seating for four provides the ideal setting for shared meals. The property includes two comfortable bedrooms, each furnished with a double bed, fresh linens, and pillows. The first bedroom offers ample storage within a wardrobe, while the second bedroom showcases beautiful bespoke wood paneling and a chest of drawers. The spacious family bathroom is well appointed with a wash basin, mirror, toilet, shower over bath, and fresh towels to ensure a refreshing experience throughout your stay. There is also a downstairs W/C.

Our home is fully prepared for your visit with a washer, heating, and a variety of kitchen amenities including an oven, stove, and microwave. We also provide essentials such as bed linens, towels, and a hairdryer. Checking in is simple and flexible via a remote lock box, with access codes provided twenty four hours prior to your arrival.

You can reach the picturesque town of Helmsley in just ten minutes, or enjoy family fun at Flamingo Land in fifteen minutes. History enthusiasts will appreciate being only fifteen minutes from the stunning Rievaulx Abbey and the fascinating Eden Camp, while the grand Castle Howard and the renowned Malton Food Market are both within a twenty minute drive. For a day by the coast, the beautiful seaside towns of Whitby and Scarborough are both easily accessible within a forty minute drive.

Getting to our cottage is straightforward and convenient. For those arriving by car, there is the added benefit of complimentary on street parking directly outside the property. While having a vehicle is recommended to fully explore the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors and the surrounding countryside at your own pace, Kirkbymoorside is well connected by local bus services that link to nearby towns such as Helmsley and Pickering. The nearest major rail station is Malton, which is approximately a twenty minute drive away and offers regular connections to York and the wider rail network. If you are travelling from further afield, Leeds Bradford Airport is the most convenient major hub, reachable in about ninety minutes by car.

The property is situated on a quiet street and offers convenient free parking directly outside. Check-in time is from 16:00 and check-out is by 10:00. We are a family-friendly cottage and welcome infants and children. Please note that while pets are allowed, additional charges may apply.
