How “El Capitán” got its name:
The living room of El Capitan has a seafaring motif and feel. And the bedroom has the floor build up, with two steps, so that the bed and area around it is elevated, and from the bed itself you can see the ocean all the time. And we figured that this is what a captain would want, being able to survey his domain - the open ocean all the way out to the horizon - at all times. So we called the property El Capitán

• After 8PM our Night Service deals with any emergencies.
• On weekends our team monitors emails.

Second year in a row that we stay here for our summer vacation. Love the place, close to everything, ocean front, couldn’t ask for more, its perfect!.

We had a great stay overall. The location is excellent—just steps from the beach and close to restaurants and other attractions, making it very convenient to explore the area.
Although there was temporary water rationing during our stay, the host communicated proactively, kept us informed, and provided buckets of water as well as portable air conditioning units to make the apartment as comfortable as possible. We really appreciated the effort and transparency throughout the situation.
The apartment was comfortable, and the communication with the host was excellent from beginning to end. The only suggestion I would make is to have a few more fans or additional portable air conditioning units, as it would have helped keep the apartment a bit cooler, especially during the warmer parts of the day.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay, would definitely consider staying here again, and would recommend it to travelers looking for a great location and responsive hosts.

We absolutely loved this find! Perfect location with a pool and right on the beach!! Balcony view was amazing and location was key!! Best thing was we felt totally secured in the building at all times. Plenty of places nearby to eat within walking distance and minutes from airport, car rental and all the other places we visited!! Host had great communication, checking in and out. Thank you so much for the great hospitality!!

The property was not what I expected very rundown. The bathroom needs to be completely redone .
