Located in the Palmetto Dunes community, Villamare provides an array of amenities for guests including, outdoor and indoor pools and hot tubs, a gym, and beach access with outdoor showers. The location is hard to beat with multiple golf courses, local restaurants, and beautiful parks all at a leisurely drive away. Spend your vacation on island time as the community’s beach access is in walking distance of this unit.
This unit has everything you will need for a peaceful stay. The stylish living room is the perfect spot to catch up on your favorite show or step out onto the patio to enjoy the tropical foliage of the surrounding complex. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, including a dishwasher. Attached to the kitchen, there is a washer/dryer. The bedrooms are on each end of the condo which adds privacy. Each has the added luxury of balcony access and attached bathrooms.
This property is not pet-friendly. Parking is available for up to 2 cars with the purchase of resort parking passes for payment on your guest account. It would have been nice if they had given codes for the resort amenities rather than me having to call to get them. The remotes for the cable box in the living room did not work. The door for the washer and dryer would not open without pulling it out of the track. All small issues, but would have made our stay that much better.

Condo was clean. Villamare is an excellent location, but building 2 is one of the furthest from the pool/beach. Otherwise, everything was great.

Villamare is a wonderful beachfront property. The pools and hot tubs are excellent. Palmetto Dunes is a great location for Hilton Head.Unfortunately, this condo is in major need of a remodel. We had issues with toilet that would not stop running, a washer that is on its last leg and was so loud you could only run it when not in the condo.The condo itself has old, mismatched furniture. It looks like they went to garage sales and threw it altogether. It’s very cluttered. The wood flooring has soft spots that must be rotted as well as chunks missing and very wavy. It seems like water must have damaged it at some point.Villamare is great but choose a different unit.We also had trouble with a parking pass even though I called twice to get instructions for a late arrival. I was given wrong information.I’ve stayed at very nice condos within Villamare, but I cannot recommend this unit.
