Escape to this peaceful 700 sq ft private back house nestled in one of the safest and most sought-after neighborhoods in the San Gabriel Valley. This fully self-contained 2-story guesthouse offers the privacy and comfort of home with no shared walls, secure separate entrance, and quiet, respectful neighbors — perfect for families, couples, or anyone looking for a true retreat.
Downstairs you'll find everything you need for a comfortable stay: a full-size futon for lounging or extra sleeping, a well-equipped kitchenette (fridge, microwave, toaster oven, and induction stove), a dining table for shared meals, and a full bathroom. Coffee lovers will feel right at home — we provide a drip coffee maker, French press, coffee grinder, and electric kettle, along with complimentary coffee beans and ground coffee to get your morning started.
Upstairs, unwind in your private bedroom featuring plush carpeting and flexible sleeping arrangements — one queen bed and two twin beds, ideal for families or small groups. The upstairs also doubles as a wonderland for little ones — it's packed with a carefully curated collection of toys, games, and books that families absolutely love. Please note that the bedroom has an A-frame ceiling that starts at 7'6" and slopes downward, so taller guests should mind their heads (we have tape and signs to remind you!). Also note that the bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs, so guests should be comfortable with stairs.

Just what we were looking for.If you have small kids, there are tons of toys play with lots to do for kids. If you have teenagers, they have a wall of books for teens. It’s awesome.

We felt very comfortable in the neighborhood. Walking through Garfield Park to get to restaurants was nice, even after the sun went down because it was still full of families with small kids and people walking their dogs. And no worries about our car as we were able to park behind a locked wooden gate.

We needed to stay close to family in South Pas and this perfectly fit the bill. Clean and totally functional for our group of three. Steps upstairs were a little steep but very large sleeping space and very comfortable beds. Highly recommend.
