Blue Mountain Apartments provides modern self check-in accommodation in Kópavogur, close to Reykjavik. WiFi and parking are free.

The Space:
The studio can accommodate 4 guests. We have double or twin beds and a sofa, TV and kitchenette with oven, stove, microwave and refrigerator. The private bathrooms come with a shower and hairdryer. For your convenience, you will find shampoo and shower gel. Please note this is a Multi listing property, so the apartments can vary in design and view.
Cots, cribs, high seats and other children/baby furniture are available upon request.

Bláfjöll mountain range is close by- locals go to ski and snowboard. Other popular area activities include cycling and hiking in Heidmörk Nature Reserve, which is 4 km from Blue Mountain Apartments.
The building is close to a supermarket, a dine-out, a bakery and gym.
Getting Around:
The closest bus stop nearby Blue Mountain Apartments is called: Vatnsendahvarf / Ögurhvarf. It is 7 minutes walk to Blue Mountain Apartments.
You can take the FlyBus from the airport to the bus station in Reykjavik and then take the public bus to BMA. But we recommend renting a car when staying in Kopavogur, as it's located 15 min. from Reykjavik.

Kindly note the water in Iceland has this particular smell because of the sulphur in it . It is in fact one of the cleanest and most delicious drinking water in the world. Unlike in many neighbouring countries, the Icelandic water is free of chlorine, calcium, and nitrate. This was our first stay in Reykjavik and we did not know what to expect. We chose this location for its ample parking and easy access to sights. The studio apartment was fine, clean with just the basics. The only disappointment was the view of the road and commercial buildings. For the cost we had hoped for a bit more charm. Would we stay here again? Maybe. We’d shop around some more first.
