For a great-value meal and some excellent cocktails, head to Cocoa Casco Rooftop—a cozy terrace with a spectacular, relaxing view. Visit Pedro Mandinga to try raspadura, a traditional Panamanian artisanal rum that’s very smooth; you’ll enjoy it even more when sipped at this bar. And when it’s time for dessert, visit Nomé Chocolate. Just a few blocks away, you’ll find Café Unido and Sisu Coffee Studio, where you can enjoy excellent coffee and exquisite pastries while sitting at sunset and soaking up Panama’s warm climate. Be sure to visit the Interoceanic Canal Museum (Wednesday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) and the Museum of Panamanian History (Tuesday through Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.). Both museums are located in Independence Square. Also, the Museo de la Mola. Check opening hours online or directly at the museums for any changes.
