Hoopers Creek Cottage is officially a 3-bedroom home with a 4th “sleeping area.” Due to permit/advertising limitations, we are not able to market it as a 4-bedroom property. However, there is an additional private room used for sleeping that includes a Queen bed, offering extra flexibility for your group.

This cottage was lovely! It was clean and had everything we needed for a week’s stay. I gave it 4 stars only because it is advertised as wheelchair accessible when it really isn’t. There is no way to enter the house upstairs without steps (from the driveway to the porch). Also the bedroom doors are not wide enough to get a wheelchair through. So I would suggest removing “wheelchair accessible” from the description. Other than that, it’s a wonderful place to stay. We had a blast. Thanks!

This VRBO was one of the better layouts for sharing with another family. Plenty of room for all 9 of us and the teenagers loved having the downstairs as their own space!The kitchen was well stocked for everything you'd want to make meals while on vacation. Game area was a big hit - ping pong was everyone's favorite. Sitting by the fire each night was the best way to end our evenings. Ideally situated to reach Asheville within 20-30 minutes. The teen boys easily drove to the Davidson River 5 of our 7 days to fish! Several grocery stores within a short drive. We found a nice gentleman who had seasoned firewood for sale right before the nearest Ingles grocery and bought from him twice during our stay. Parking was easy for four vehicles. Check-in was very smooth. Communication before and during the stay was great!Definitely now on our family's favorite places to stay and we will return!

We had a lovely stay! The property was terrific, well stocked, good location, and nicely updated. We appreciated the privacy offered by the two floors, as we traveled with two families. I took one star off as I found the property management company somewhat difficult to work with leading up to our stay, as they required excessive “verification” that didn’t actually feel secure at all. Other than that, they were responsive and easy to work with. I would probably stay here again if traveling to the area.

This cute house was very roomie and fit our party comfortably. We came for a quick getaway and enjoyed the peacefulness of the area and how close it was to all the fun in Asheville. We would definitely stay here again!
