In order to minimise disturbance to overwintering wildfowl, the footpaths to the Southern and Eastern edge of Somerford Lagoon are not accessible from the 1st of October to the 31st of March
Spinney Lake is available for non-powered water sports all year.

We've stayed here several times now and keep coming back, which says it all really!
The house is always spotlessly clean, comfortable and well-equipped, with stunning views over the lake that we never get tired of. It's in a great location within Lower Mill Estate, making it easy to enjoy everything the estate has to offer.
One of the biggest draws for us is the fantastic facilities on the estate – the pools, spa, restaurant and beautiful walks around the lakes all make for a really relaxing break. Whether you want to be active or just unwind, there's something for everyone.
We absolutely love it here and it feels like a home away from home. We're already looking forward to our next visit and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful Cotswolds getaway.

We booked this accommodation for my husband's 50th family birthday. Communication about the booking was very good and consistent and the staff I spoke to were very helpful. The accommodation itself was lovely and very comfortable. The location was amazing, right on the side of a large lake. The accommodation was very well equipped. The inside was immaculately clean. The only thing I would comment negatively on was the cleanliness of the outside area overlooking the lake. There was a note in the welcome folder saying that cobwebs were inevitable due to the location next to the lake but the cobwebs on the outside furniture were a lot more than that. It looked like it had not been cleaned for quite some time. We spent half an hour cleaning the furniture which I would not expect to do on my holiday. We did not get any cobwebs afterwards and we stayed there for 3 nights. Overall we had a wonderful holiday and would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely family trip to Rush house. A perfect get away for a few days in the new year. The house was very clean and perfectly equipped for our family of five. It was snowing during our stay and the house was lovely and warm and the access to the spa for a swim was great. The views over the lake were spectacular.
Orion were great to deal with. All the information we needed was provided ahead of time for check in and check out, and clearly set out. I felt that if I had an issue, they would have acted quickly and courteously.
