Welcome to our Corolla escape, a well-appointed beach home with all the latest amenities that also harkens back to early beach cottages, lined on the inside with juniper walls and ceilings! This home is tastefully decorated, outfitted with beautiful touches, and has fun coastal amenities such as a gated private pool and hot tub. The kitchen is well stocked, and the art throughout the home pays homage to local birds and wildlife, which you may see, year-round right outside the front windows on the lake! The entire family will enjoy bike rides and walks around the nature trails and roads of this quiet community.
Kids will love the first level of the home, featuring a TV room of their own and a pool table (which converts easily into ping-pong). Up to six children can bunk up in the level 1 bedroom and have a bedroom of their own. Also all guests will enjoy getting snacks and beverages in the kitchenette just steps away from the pool deck.
On the second level, your family can gather around the large kitchen table and breakfast bar for meals and entertainment. Just off the kitchen is our comfortable den, featuring TV and surround sound stereo. Walk out onto the deck and take in the breath-taking lake views. Two bedrooms (Queen and Double) each have a bathroom of their own.
Walk up to the third level to find two bedroom (King and Queen) suites and a cozy reading nook. The master bedroom boasts an airy cathedral ceiling and natural light. Just off the bedroom, you'll find the third level deck where you can enjoy the sun rising over the Atlantic Ocean.
Our home would be the perfect getaway for you and your pet!
IMPORTANT NOTE: We only rent to family groups. Also, while we list this home at a capacity of 14, please note that six of the beds are not suitable for adults. We ask you to keep this in mind when booking. We reserve the right to cancel reservations containing more than 8 adults.

Very nice property with plenty of space. We’ve stayed in other properties in the subdivision so knew what to expect as far as distance to the beach and the grocery and restaurant options around. The only recommendations I would suggest would be minor, including an update to the kitchen like the coffee pot (which had some leaking issues) and pots and pans which were old and not usable, to replace the pool table cues and accessories (one cue was missing a tip and there was no chalk) and to repair the slight cosmetic damages in the bathrooms. Overall, the property was clean when we checked in with plenty of room for everyone. We would stay here again.

Elysha was an amazing host! Her beautiful house was perfect for our family vacation and the location to the beach was an easy walk, even for small children. We hope to return next year

The Property and layout of the home was great.
Communication re issues that arose during our stay tainted our experience somewhat.
Several individually minor issues, when looked at in total, suggest the owner and host need to pay more attention to the details. An example - two sinks were nearly plugged and took 10 plus minutes to drain very slowly. The same for one of the showers. Not sure how the cleaners could not notice the condition of the drains when cleaning the bathrooms.

I will start by saying that the view to the lake beautiful, especially from the third floor. There are many turtles in the lake and it’s a nice walk to enjoy. Upon arriving the first day, the 3rd floor was 88 degrees and there was no air circulating. I did contact the homeowner and she responded quickly and called the HVAC company who unfortunately did not arrive until Tuesday morning so we had to spend 3 whole days in sweating heat. They did however replace the system and from that moment on it was cool on the 3rd floor. The layout of the house isn’t the best for kids, as the bunk area is on the bottom floor of the home, with direct access to the outside and the pool area. It is specified that the pool is to be cleaned on Saturday and Wednesday but no one came on Wednesday, and there is no skimmer to remove any debris yourself. The TV on this floor did not work either so we didn’t use that sitting area at all. Midway through the week we did find a cockroach climbing the walls of the bottom floor, not sure where he came from. Now onto the second floor, or main area of the home, since the kitchen and living room are there. Unfortunately there are no blinds or curtains in the living area so it’s very difficult to watch tv when the sun is blazing into that room. I understand the beach homes are meant to enjoy the sun but a few blinds so you can control the light yourself would be beneficial. The windows throughout need updating also.
