The awesome design and architecture of El Salto the log home sends guests home with a most memorable vacation stay and a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience an authentic log home. The Guest Cabin (located next to El Salto Log Home) and Private Cabin (nestled by itself at bottom of tree protected drive) offer efficient separation for large groups wanting to stay "together" with a sense of privacy and togetherness all at once.
The guest house proximity to the log home makes it a perfect separation for children and teens to have their own space to watch big screen TV and play table games for day time and early evening recreation. Two hot tubs means most everyone who wants to soak will find hot tub space at any given time. Good location (near Arroyo Seco). Roomy houses, good for large groups. Well stocked kitchen & pantry. Property manager was excellent. Would stay here again.

This was great for our group of 15! The rooms and beds were comfortable. Everyone had space to spread out. The main house was great for cooking and relaxing as a group. The kitchens had everything you need in terms of appliances and cooking utensils. Location was close to the skiing and town for fishing/ shopping/ eating out. The house was very clean which we really appreciated and the grounds were beautiful (amazing views from the hot tub).

We loved the place if you have a large group of older adults it gives everyone space and privacy. It was easy to get to from the airports and about 24 mins from the ski resort. We loved having the fire places. The caretaker was responsive to our questions regarding the trash compactor to ensure everything with smoothly. The only issue to note was that after we left and locked up the hot tub it started to empty itself so I would recommend taking a photo prior to departure and if you have some larger folks in the group keep the hot tube to a minimum or it will siphon itself.

Beautiful property and great location to enjoy all the Taos, NM region has to offer !! We had 6 adults, a baby, and a 2 y.o. in the main house, 3 adults in the middle house, and 2 adults in the guest house in comfortable beds. Fire in the fireplace and a beautiful Christmas tree made for a memorable and wonderful Christmas for our family !!
