O tym ten hotel
Two hours from Boston, tucked into 1,000+ acres of New Hampshire forest, our handcrafted treehouse is built for two people who want to actually hear themselves think. Gavin built it by hand in 2020.
We greet you with a bottle of wine and a cheese board. Cozy loft, fire pit, wraparound deck, pitch-dark stargazer skies. Lake access a mile away.
WELCOME TO NEW HAMPSHIRE TREEHOUSE LIFE
This is a retreat for two — the kind of place where the only thing on your schedule is watching the sun set through the trees. Gavin built this treehouse in 2020, and we've been welcoming couples, writers, and quiet-weekend-seekers ever since.
INSIDE THE TREEHOUSE
Cozy loft with a queen bed under warm wood beams
Gas fireplace for atmosphere and chillier nights
Kitchenette with convection oven, fridge, sink, and coffee maker
Full private bathroom with a hot shower
Fiber Wi-Fi (79 Mbps) — if you want it. Most guests don't.
Air conditioning for warmer months
OUTSIDE
Wraparound deck among the trees — sunsets, coffee, quiet
Fire pit below the deck
Binoculars for spotting deer and wild turkeys
Big skies for stargazing — often the Milky Way
A WELCOME FROM US
We'll greet you with a light grazing board so you can exhale on arrival without a grocery run:
Bottle of wine
Hummus, cheese, and crackers
Coffee for the morning
Where you are
2 hours from Boston
1 mile to Granite Lake beach access (bring a kayak, or go for a swim)
15 minutes from Keene for restaurants and groceries
Quiet dirt road, no visible neighbors
1,000+ acres of private forest behind you
4WD recommended in winter conditions
Optional themed stays — just ask
Writer's Escape — journal prompts, silence, no distractions
Unplug Weekend — digital detox with a journal and zero pressure
Stargazer Stay — moonless nights, cider basket, constellation maps
Or build your own vibe — most guests do.
GOOD TO KNOW
Entire treehouse is yours
Best suited for adults or older teens (loft access is via stairs)
Our dogs and cats live on-site — they'll respect your space but may wander by to say hello
Firewood and add-ons available on request

The tree house was lovely! The directions should say, take a left at the church and include mileage (how far to the fork in the road, how far to the mailboxes). The setting offers places to walk and nearby hiking trails.

If you're looking for a peaceful getaway in a remote location this beautiful treehouse in NH is the ideal spot. My wife had always dreamed about a getaway in a cabin during winter since she is from a tropical island. Being a treehouse, this was an added bonus. Very impressed with the amount of detail that went into the design. The hosts were extremely gracious and even allowed us to check in early since we were driving all the way from FL. Would love to come back and experience it in the summertime. Highly recommend this place if you want a romantic getaway to unplug from the world.

Great little place to stay. Minimal living style away from it all.
