This A side duplex is a good location: walk to the beach, easy bike ride to the historic district and golf courses. It is nicely equipped, beds are comfortable and several veery good restaurants are within walking distance.

Rental was a place to sleep & that’s about it. Living room furniture was uncomfortable & sofa had more dog hair than acceptable - even for a dog friendly rental. The tile floors appeared to be mopped but walking on them with bare feet the first night revealed they were extremely dirty. While we were sent a list after signing the rental contract, we were surprised by some of the very basic items not provided - a grill, kitchen dish towels, hand soap in the bathroom & blankets for the beds (only thin bedspread, top sheet & fitted sheets provided). These are all items every other rental we have stayed at provided. I recommend adding a slip cover to the sofa that can be washed between uses, having the tile floors scrubbed/steamed, adding hand soap from the dollar store, blankets for the bedroom & cleaning the nasty living room ottoman. We found a portable grill that had been abandoned at the beach & left it at the house so hopefully the next guests can benefit from that. The outside of the property needs to be power washed. Overall we felt the property owner is being downright cheap & doesn’t care about providing guests a positive experience but perhaps we have previously had higher than usual experiences with our short stay rental experiences.
