The Midshires Way, Middlewood Way and Sett Valley Trail are all available locally. There are ample options for walking and cycling. Marple Bridge itself is around a 5-minute drive and where you’ll find a selection of good pubs. Further amenities are available in neighbouring Marple, including a train station providing direct access to the bright lights of Manchester in under 30 mins. There are the vast green spaces of Etherow Country Park and Brabyns Park, the fabulous Torrs Riverside Park within a 15-minute drive and being on the edge of the Peak District National Park means that popular tourist attractions such as Buxton, Edale, Bakewell Chatsworth House and Castleton are accessible within an hour. Gorgeous property in a great location. Beautifully decorated with all the amenities you require, as well as lovely and busy for our winter break away

Excellent all round property. Only problem was that the satnav would not work in this area. A clearer description needs to be added as to how to find the property. We had to ask several local people if they knew where the property was. We panicked as it was getting late and darkness was coming in. Not easy in a hilly and remote area. Owner did not answer our calls so was not able to help.
