You'll be sure to flourish at the small and exclusive Sandstep Retreat community, where you can luxuriate in the shared community oceanfront pool, stroll to the beach on your shared private beach boardwalk, and fall in love with the island charm of Sandsteps. Enjoy panoramic views from the generous windows throughout our great room or from your master bedroom. Al fresco dining on your oceanfront deck can't be beat; or for a rainy day, cuddle up to our decorative fireplace in Ernest Hemingway Key West style furnishings. Our beautifully decorated and updated home will give you the vacation that you have been longing for.
We are an Upper/Lower Duplex: If you are coming with a second family, Also book Sandstep 616-2 above us for a total of 9 bedrooms!

Covered parking for 2 vehicles. Park Tandem, on the right side under the house as marked for 616-1. A 3rd vehicle, size-dependent, may fit tandem on the driveway apron.

Pool hours are from 9 AM to dusk. The maximum number of guests allowed in the pool area at any given time is 16, including children. Guest count will be monitored by the HOA.

Rental Policies:
In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.
Things to bring:
Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.
Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm
Check-out is by 10 am.
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Pool Notice:

We want to make sure you’re aware of our cancellation policy. If you cancel when your arrival date is more than 60 days away, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel when your arrival date is less than 60 days away, you will forfeit your deposit.

Renting a golf cart or bike is easy, too, with several local rental companies. Golf carts are one of the easiest ways to cruise around the island. Rentals are simple to arrange, and once you're behind the wheel, you can zip along any road posted 35 mph or under.

The view was amazing! You find yourself truly engrossed your temporary front yard!! Direct beach access was fantastic. The noise from neighbors on either side and the public beach access are the only reason I think it is a bit over priced. Little to no supplies at that price point felt a little off. But if you want a beautiful view and a very comfortable front deck!!! It is right here!

This place was wonderful. Right on the beach with a large walkout deck. The home was 3 bedrooms and accommodated our 2 families of 4 perfectly (8 total). The pool is located at the next door neighboring house, but there is a path on the side of the house which provides easy access. Highly recommend and will book again.

We had a great time at this property. It was right on the beach and it had a shared pool, which was great for the rough water days at the beach. We had most of the amenities we needed - you'll need to bring beach towels. The house was very clean and everything was in working order. We would definitely recommend and stay again!

Like many other reviews - the sheets being on the bed and the beds not being made is pretty poor service. check in at 4pm and out 10am is also frustrating.... Plenty of time to make the beds for the clients. Parking for unit 1 was very tough especially if you have a truck. The pool was locked on Saturday and we couldn't get in around 1pm in the afternoon.... Why was it locked at all?? You had guests on site. Then around 4PM random people were swimming in the pool and being loud despite no other guests at any of the associated property's. Also the outside showers - #1 was not working properly the shower head seemed to be clogged or have very low pressure. You could just tell it was a rental unit managed by a company. We wound up leaving a day early. Overall the place was nice, but not worth it.
