Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at this location three times. Each time we stay, the upgrades make the place that much more enjoyable for us. These include the water dispenser. We did want to share a couple of things that we did have concerns with, and hoping that they can be addressed.-written instructions for operating the TV including the two remotes, both of which we seemed to struggle with-- while we were able to vacuum the house before leaving, we could not find a broom to sweep with-- the water pressure in both bathrooms was subpar, and we struggled with that-- we did see some ants in the house -- bathroom and 2nd bedroom. It's spring and there were several anthills around the yard, so not unexpected but should be addressed-- clothes washer works very well but dryer was a struggle as it took a bit of time to dry a load of towels that were required as part of our stay

Very happy overall with the rental property

It was just as described… I reached out to owners as I saw a bad review about the outdoor furniture. They said they were replacing it and they indeed replaced it. Loved the location as we are bikers. And Cape Henlopen bike trails are so close. It was nicely stocked and cozy.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: Small comfy cottage, not far from the beach. It had the basic essentials. Good for a couple. Beyond that it may get crowded, at least for us. The neighborhood was quiet, even right next to the ferry. We could only hear it if outside. The neighbors were very friendly. (not always the case when you have a rental in a neighborhood).Cons: There was an iron, but no ironing board. The door to the front sunroom was heavy and tough to open. We spent a lot of time in here with the windows open. There was too much stuff in this room. Dresser and large table need to go. The table on the back patio basically crumbled when I went to sit down. The bottom ring that connects that table legs was only connected (barely) to 2 legs. I fixed it. The outdoor toilet... on hot days, there was a not very pleasant aroma along the side of the house and out back. We had to keep resetting the ice machine and no the tray wasn't full. Only one bed was really comfy. The other larger bed was as hard as the floor. For the rate we paid, we could have had a much larger, more comfy rental for the same week. We think the rate should be adjusted to match what is offered. Some little updates here and there would definitely make it more appealing. The windows had been replaced which likely helped keep the sound out.
