In true Savannah fashion, the first level starts a half flight of stairs from the street. Enter into the foyer, adorned with the owner's collection of antiques and fine China. The dining room is just off the foyer and sits up to six guests. The kitchen sits just off of the dining room and has all the essentials. Towards the back of the home you'll find the bright and well-decorated living area. A plush sofa anchors the room with plenty of places to sit and sip! Guests can access their favorite streaming channels on the flat screen TV, or enjoy basic cable channels. A half bath is just off the living room.
Upstairs, three more beds and a full bath. The daybed is in a private nook at the top of the stairs, with the first bedroom just around the corner. This bedroom features a Queen bed and a beautiful collection of the owner's private art. Guests also have the convenience of a flat screen TV mounted across the bed. Unpack your suitcase in the antique chest of drawers and enjoy crawling into the hotel-grade linens at the end of a long day.
Next door, the second bedroom with King size bed and a walk-in closet. The full bath - shared by both bedrooms - is at the end of the hall. The bathroom features a walk-in shower and a wide vanity making getting ready a breeze. Guests are also able to enjoy the private courtyard, shared with the garden-level tenants.

Parking for this home is on-street and metered, which is enforced by the City of Savannah from Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Guests may conveniently pay using the ParkSavannah app, feed the meter or parking kiosks directly, or park on a nearby non-metered street. Please take note of posted Sweep Zone signs when parking on the street.

Great location, beautiful home for a special feel of Savannah. Parking wasn’t a problem. Clear instructions for arrival and departure. Loved being so close to peaceful squares, less crowds. Enjoyed seeing hawks and owls, and especially enjoyed bringing our dog. The wood floors were so pretty and such a beautiful, spacious living area. We would recommend staying here. Cool view, but if you’re not a fan of stairs this would not be a good fit. Highly recommend.

We had a great time! The quality of the property was very high and made for an excellent value. We were only one block from Forsyth Park and were able to easily walk anywhere in the historic district. Parking can be pricey, but that ia the nature of the historic district. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend Gordon Chic.

House is in a great location, about one block SW of Forsyth Park... you can’t beat it. Parking was easy every single time as well. As we knew from the description, there were a lot of stairs. This was not a problem for us. The house has been remodeled for the most part at various times. Now for the issues-The house was fairly clean- though there were a lot of dirty hand marks from over time on doors and trim. The upstairs HVAC is a major issue due to massive amounts of humidity. There are three mini splits that were put in and run constantly. Even on 72-73 degrees, it’s warm and sticky. Our clothes stored in the bedrooms and bed linens felt damp. We would wake up through the night hot and sweaty due to the humidity issue. I used to live a few blocks from this home, so I am familiar with old house issues, but this was a new one for me. We did bring it to the attention of the management company, but there’s not much that could be done really other than move us. I don’t think we were up for that. However, we would absolutely not pay to stay here again.
