Great little spot on Oak Island. It is literally 20 steps to the beach which was great. The property was clean with clear parking for your vehicle. We rented a golf cart for the weekend, and there was adequate parking for it as well. I love touring around Oak Island. There are a lot of great drink and food places to enjoy. Can’t wait to go back!

Great location. Good for couple or small family. All you need for beach vacation.Great beach, good restaurants. Not crowded at all at this time of the year.

Absolutely loved staying here. The beach access couldn’t be closer.

We have stayed at the Salt Shack several times in the past. You can’t beat the location! The unit did not appear as clean as with previous stays…especially floors and countertops. But during this stay we encountered numerous water bugs (roaches) even on bed.
