Big Villa with a Main House with 3 bedrooms plus additional unit with 2 bedrooms, with a private swimming pool with beautiful gardens.
Located in town in a peaceful area, just a 10 minute walk to the amazing swimming beach surrounded by palm trees. The property is rented to one group at a time so nothing is shared with other guests.
Perfect for groups up to 12 guests including children.

The MAIN HOUSE offers

Both buildings are next to each other and they both have access to a large swimming pool surrounded by beautiful gardens and green areas. Beautiful landscape with flowers with lots of trees, humming birds and butterflies.
We offer parking for up to 3 vehicles inside the property. The property is ALL fenced in and it is private and quiet with lots of nature, creating a very peaceful feeling and that is why we called it OASIS.
The main house offers a full kitchen with ALL appliances and utensils for cooking and for preparing your favorite cocktails, a spacious living room with two sofas and one chair to have your family gatherings, we offer an inside dining area with a table and an outside dining table, a large patio with chairs and coffee table overlooking the gardens, the forest and the swimming pool. You can choose to eat inside or outside by the veranda. In this area we also offer a Weber barbecue if you feel like having a parrillada.
The highlight of this property is the outside living space with an amazing setting for the swimming pool surrounded by lots of nature and privacy where you can admire many different species of birds, iguanas and howler monkeys.
AT REQUEST FOR THE GUEST: We provide personal laundry service. We just ask for a small tip for the maid.

There is a grocery store 2 blocks away and one other one called La Guaria with everything you may need and it is 3 blocks away.
The beach is at least a 10 minute walk (NOT FLAT but HILLY, not for the faint at heart) or 4 blocks away and most vacationers prefer to have a vehicle to take a cooler with beverages and beach toys, beach towels and chairs although it is not required if you have a shuttle from the airport for the whole group and love to walk once you get to the house.
All reservations accepted have the property private to themselves.
The reservation must have the total amount of people we will host and no other guests who are not registered and paid for will be allowed in the property.

A description of our town
Carrillo Beach (not to be confused with the Carrillo county) has a small community with great restaurants and a couple of stores and it is less than 10 minutes by car from the well known Samara Beach.
This beach was awarded with the 5 star ecological blue flag, only a total of 5 beaches qualified in the whole country for the top rating with 5 stars they went though a program of qualifying great ocean water and potable water plus cleanliness of the town and efficient recycling programs in the community.
The beach is ideal for swimming and absolutely beautiful surrounded with palm trees and lots of shade throughout the whole day.
Most of the homes around Villa Oasis are residential. In our street called Oasis (named after our home) there are about 10 other homes for permanent friendly residents and 2 other rental homes for families.
There are also a couple of tour companies in town to help you arrange your activities, one is called Octopus Costa Rica and it is recommend for the dolphin tours and a wonderful ocean experience.
Water activities are the highlights of our town. Anything from swimming, going for a dolphin and whale tour, fishing for inshore and offshore, kayaking and paddle boarding, snorkeling at Punta Indio and Isla Chora or just taking an adventure to the jungle by ATV or side by sides to swim in a waterfall and have a barbecue in a secluded paradisiac white sand beach.
Everyone is friendly in our community and happy to provide great service for people visiting the area.
Samara offers lots of restaurants in front of the water and lots of souvenir shops. There are a handful of tour operators that offer great activities for adults and children.
Carrillo also offers a Gym with instructor, a horse back riding tour guide named Luis Angel that is fantastic and two grocery stores where you can find absolutely everything you may need on vacation from fruits to liquor and wine.
Playas del Sur and Roble that also belong to our town offer a paradisiac experience with a small waterfall flowing right into the sand in the months of May through November and lots of tide pools.
One of the highlights of Carrillo is walking the whole beach which is 2 kilometers long or 4 kilometers round trip. The walk is easy and you will see lots of species of birds including Kingfishers, lots of egrets and scarlet macaws. The gentle walk provides so much beauty. A lot of people like to do this walk early in the mornings to see the sunrises or some may prefer to go for a sunset cruise and swim. If you feel adventurous you can walk all around the Punta Indio rock at the North side of the beach.
Carrillo is a very safe town and friendly.

This beautiful home is exactly how described and pictured - a true oasis! We had a wonderful time with our family of 7 adults and resident iguanas, birds, and even howler monkeys that were heard but not seen. We felt safe and welcomed the entire time. A/C is in the bedrooms only so the rest of the house can get a little warm. I think a place of this size with A/C throughout would probably far exceed our budget. If you get warm, take a dip in the beautiful pool!

This gorgeous villa is exactly as described with simple amenities in an extraordinary setting. The kitchen contains basic cookware and kitchenware, and there is no air conditioning in the living ares, as is in the description. But there is all important AC in the bedrooms, daily cleaning and evening security. There are a number of extra security measures in place, we did as we were asked and had zero issues. The house and grounds are beautiful - the pool area feels very private, even though the house is located in a very pleasant quiet neighborhood with other houses and restaurants a short distance away. You could spend your entire vacation in the shade of the veranda on the back of the house by the pool and feel like you found paradise. Great for the kids. There is high quality, comfortable solid wood furniture inside an out. Jackie was an attentive host. She gave us a lot of guidance before we arrived on what to bring and how to get there, promptly answering all questions. She arranged to meet us in person shortly after we arrived to give recommendations on things to do in the area, and we had a lovely time just talking to her. There was plenty wildlife around the yard to keep us entertained all day. We were fortunate enough to catch the change over from the dry to rainy season quite literally in the middle of the week we were there, and watched the whole landscape and surroundings change with emerging green and all kinds of animals and insects in a matter of days.

Outstanding place to stay! Everything was perfect and the owner was always available for recommendations on things to do or places to see in the area. House was superb and the pool was over the top perfect! Thank you Jackie and Rick for everything!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home near Playa Carrillo. We spent 9 days with another family over spring break. The kids (ages 6 to12) loved the pool and spent every afternoon swimming. We all loved the yard and especially the trees surrounding the property - we saw parakeets, motmots, howler monkeys, iguanas, and lots of other birds.The set up was perfect for us. Our friends stayed in the main house with their 3 kids and we had our own separate space in the guest house with our 2. We shared the large kitchen/family room and enjoyed meals on the veranda. We either cooked or got take-out from the wonderful little soda up the street most nights. It was hot so the AC in each bedroom made for great sleeps.The beach itself is a gem. We went there every day and returned most nights for a sunset swim. We walked a couple times but with the heat and beach stuff (chairs, sand toys, and beach mats left for us to use at the unit) it was easier to drive the 2 minutes. Also nice to have a safe place to park on the property. We could tell that Jackie made security a priority and that felt good. I can't say enough good things. Jackie was a wonderful host. She was kind, helpful, and available. We appreciated having the cleaner there each day as well someone for security by the gate in the evenings. It all added up to a really great experience. So, thank you Jackie. Pura vida!
