Lose yourself in the 'Serenity' of the Smoky Mountains at our *Beautiful 3rd floor Condo in the High Chalet Condominiums. The moment you walk through the door you are drawn in by our Gorgeous Long Range Views, looking to the left you can see Douglas Lake, straight on English Mountain and to the right Mount Leconte. Sunrise is so Beautiful, and at night enjoy the Sparkle of the City lights! The High Chalet Condos are located at the top of the mountain. Approximately 3 1/2 miles from downtown Gatlinburg, so it will take about 15 min to drive up or down. We are on the 3rd floor and there are NO ELEVATORS.
The living room has a chic lodge feel, after a day of sightseeing come and relax on our cozy furniture while taking in a movie on our 55 inch SMART TV With All Your Favorite Streaming Services, Plus Cable TV!
The main floor bedroom has a Queen size bed, 32 inch SMART TV With All Your Favorite Streaming Services , Plus a door wall to your own Private Balcony. The Loft will be a Favorite with the Kids, complete with sky light! We added a Privacy curtain, its like their own private movie theater while taking in a favorite movie! It has a Full size bed and a Twin size bed Plus a 32 inch SMART TV with All your Favorite Streaming Services!

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place. The condo was immaculate!! The rooms were perfect for 2 adults and 2 teens. The loft was a little warmer but there were plenty of fans that it wasn't an issue. The view was incredible. It was very close to Gatlinburg but far enough away your not blinded by the lights. They have a pool, 2 hot tubs, a sauna, and a game room. There was plenty of parking and all the guests or residents that were there were amazing. The check in and check out was easy with a message on VRBO or text. The condo had everything you could possibly need. It was all around amazing. Thank you!!

Nice things about - The apartment offers breathtaking views, waking you up to the sight of majestic mountains. From your backyard window or balcony, you can even spot bears daily.
However, there are a few things to keep in mind. The apartment is a 15-minute drive from downtown, and the drive is uphill and on narrow roads. If you’re not an experienced driver, this can be quite challenging. Additionally, the apartment is on the 3rd floor and doesn’t have a lift; you’ll have to use the stairs.
Things i didn’t like- Personally, I didn’t like the old and outdated furniture in the apartment. The blankets and towels were old and towel had bleach stains. The upstairs room with twin and full beds always stayed hot, even when the AC was set to 66 degrees.
Another issue was the check-out time. In the US, the standard check-out time is 11 am, but this apartment’s check-out time was 10 am. You had to pay all the money upfront and then wash the dishes and put them away in the racks. Unfortunately, the host only provided us with four dishwashing pods and four garbage bags for our three-night stay. In addition, we were only given one paper towel, which ran out within two days.
