As a wheelchair user this is an excellent place to stay.
We have stayed before, lovely to be in the middle of Keswick

Second time staying at this cottage, and it is still as good as we remembered. Amazing location in the heart of Keswick, but wonderfully set away from the hustle and bustle. Superbly accessible cottage. Can’t wait till our next visit!

As a wheelchair user, it's rare to find somewhere to stay that's not only accessible (not just a touch but fully) and is comfortable. Sam's feels homely and considering you are in the middle of town, it's super quiet. Everything from the welcome pack to the customer service was excellent and the app is super helpful for navigating a new place.
The only downside is the very narrow entrance from the road, not for the inexperienced driver! Or anyone in a larger car than a small van. You cannot turn around once parked too, so having to reverse up is slightly more tricky! I'm not sure where you could park otherwise as thr road outside is double yellow.
Despite this, we managed and would stay here any time we were in Keswick.

The cottage provided all the facilities needed for our daughter who is a wheelchair user. Position is great. Unfortunately weather was bad and the cottage was not comfortable and welcoming for staying indoors.
We cut short our visit and left after two nights
