Bright 1 Bedroom 1.5 Bath Condo with Island Views | Bahia del Mar, Isla del Sol — St. Petersburg, FL
Sunlight does the decorating in this updated 1 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom condo at Bahia del Mar on Isla del Sol in St. Petersburg, Florida. A corner wall of glass wraps the dining nook, where a high-top table for four floats above a postcard view of royal palms and the island's red-tile rooftops — breakfast here feels like eating outside. One slider over, the open-air balcony adds swivel seating for slow mornings and golden-hour evenings in the Gulf coast breeze.
Inside, the remodeled kitchen pairs crisp white shaker cabinetry with a vivid blue subway-tile backsplash, quartz-style countertops, and stainless steel appliances, opening to the living space through a wide pass-through so nobody cooks alone. The living room centers on a sectional sofa with chaise and a large flat-screen TV with sound bar, all set on plank-style flooring, with free wireless internet throughout.
The oversized bedroom easily fits its plush bed, a chaise lounge for reading, and warm wood furnishings — and its own sliding-door access to the balcony means the palm view starts before your feet hit the floor. The bathroom is split for convenience: a granite-topped white vanity in its own dressing area, then a separate room with a subway-tiled walk-in shower, plus a half bath that keeps things easy when you have company.
Bahia del Mar anchors the southern end of Isla del Sol, a 350-acre island community threaded with ponds, gardens, and trails for walking and biking. Fort De Soto Park sits about 10 minutes down the Bayway with kayak rentals, the Egmont Key ferry, and North Beach, one of America's top-rated beaches. The Gulf of Mexico's white sand at St. Pete Beach and Pass-a-Grille is minutes away, downtown St. Petersburg's dining and museums about 15, and Tampa International Airport roughly 35. Add fishing charters, sailing, sunset cruises, and coastal shops, and every day fills itself.
Perfect for couples, solo escapes, and season-long snowbird stays alike, this light-filled Bahia del Mar condo is Isla del Sol at its easiest. Grab your dates before this one disappears into someone else's winter plans.
