Our weeklong stay in Lufkin was made very enjoyable by utilizing this property, with only a couple of hiccups. The HVAC unit wasn't working properly upon arrival on a warm early Summer day in June, but the host responded immediately by contacting a HVAC tech to get things working . Everything was promptly fixed, and we had a very cool and comfortable week. (For the out of staters,Texas summers can be brutal) Unseasonal rain storms caused the street to temporarily flood , but the house stayed high and dry. ( a city drainage problem). The property and amenities were exactly as listed and detailed in the supporting photographs.

This is an older house but is quite nice. We were not able to find any sharp knives for cutting fruit or other purposes. There are no food storage bags, foil or plastic wrap so be sure to bring your own.For those who like to sleep with the back ground noise blocking sound of a box fan, better bring your own of that too. There is one fan on a stand in just 1 room, but one per room would be nice. The refrigerator does not have an ice maker so again- be sure you bring your own. The beds were very comfortable.

We four ladies loved this property. We each had our own room with a closet, TV and a comfortable bed. The two bathrooms made it easy to get ready for our golf tournament and the well appointed kitchen made it perfect for our breakfasts and dinners. The host answered my questions quickly and was very accommodating. I highly recommend this property to anyone staying in Lufkin.
