Mermaid's Cove — Refreshed Every Season, Oceanfront in Kill Devil Hills

Some condos get updated once and coast. Mermaid's Cove gets better every year. Over the past two seasons this oceanfront 2-bedroom has seen a steady stream of upgrades — new mattresses, couches, light fixtures, ceiling fans, and a full-size washer and dryer — and for 2026, plush new carpeting, elegant plantation shutters, and a Polywood high-top table and chairs on the private balcony. The result is a condo that feels genuinely cared for, because it is.

Comfortable for Six, Priced Like a Two-Bedroom

Two inviting queen bedrooms, two full baths, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area comfortably sleep up to six — smart math for families who want oceanfront without paying for a bedroom they don't need. The open-concept living and dining area centers on a brand-new 55" Smart TV and comfortable seating, and the well-equipped kitchen handles everything from quick breakfasts to full dinners in.

Your private oceanfront balcony is the daily ritual spot — morning coffee with the sunrise, evenings with the sound of the waves. And from the first floor, community amenities and direct beach access are just steps away, no elevator required.
