This comfortable and renovated apartment is located along the "Rio dei Carmini" Canal. From this position you will enjoy the panorama of Giudecca island and immerse yourself in the magical Venice atmosphere!
It is located in Sestiere Dorsoduro, famous for the presence of the Cà Foscari University and IUAV, the University of Architecture and Design. This Sestiere is attended by young people and it is close to the city centre and the touristic sites.
The apartment is very spacious and located in a renovated Venetian building with a lift and a small garden; modern design in a classic environment!
The apartment is well equipped with everything you need: floor heating and cooling system, sheets and towels, WI-FI and TV. It is composed with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room with kitchenette, table and chairs, sofa. There is also a balcony at your disposal to admire Venice! It is ideal for 4 people, friends, couples or family.
All around the district you find restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and all you need for your stay. Dorsoduro boasts a rich presence of museums, churches and palaces.
A famous centre is Campo Santa Margherita ( a little square) attended by university students and tourists for its bars and “bacari” (little taverns) to enjoy the nightlife, too.
You cannot miss a leisurely stroll along Fondamenta Zattere to admire the panorama of the Giudecca Canal. Furthermore, in 5 minutes by foot you can reach Accademia Galleries and take pictures from the well known Accademia bridge.

The apartment was in a quiet location, yet still easily walkable to restaurants and points of interest. It was amazing to have a balcony with a canal view! The owner was very responsive. Check in was super easy with helpful pictures. The only thing to note is that it was very hot in the unit. But overall a very nice, spacious apartment in an excellent location!

Punched key number at outside entry. Didnt open! No one to call. Lucky, passerby could get us in. Not much kitchen stuff. Clean apartment. Nice location. It’s Venice, you will love it.

Great location that has both shops and food within a short walk. This property is lovely. The exposed wood beams have character. It was very comfortable and peaceful being just above the canal. Later in the day, the canal quiets down, and it is very calm. Looking out the balcony is wonderful. Hearing the church bells adds a wonderful charm. It is nice having two bathrooms. It was nice having a keypad for the front door of the unit, although a key is required for the outside door. Communication with the host was good. We would have been happy to spend our entire stay in Italy in this unit. The information to follow is just to be aware of, not to detour you from choosing to stay here. A few things to note At times it can feel warm as we did not have control of the heat. We relied on opening the windows to bring it to a comfortable temperature. The walls have marks from being hit and scuffed most likely from having luggage rubbing up against it. There is some water damage near the main level bathroom, as well as at the top of the stairs. It has discoloured the wood floor. During the day it is very lively on the canal and the sounds of boats and horns can be heard abundantly.At the time we booked the property it advertised a washer and dryer, unfortunately the dryer is broken. When we mentioned this to the host they let us know it was broken. Looking at previous reviews it has been broken for quite sometime. The ad has since been changed to not include the dryer.
