For our Savannah properties, it is a scenic 25-minute drive through Wilmington and Whitemarsh Island, taking you over the Savannah River Delta onto Tybee Island. The Pool is open during the below dates and times.
March 1 - Oct 31: Open 7 days a week from 10am-5pm.
Nov 1 - Feb 28/29: Open Friday and Saturday from 10am-5pm

The house was great for our group. It was just the right size for us and very close access to the beach and the south side shops and restaurants. Despite sand everywhere, the house was very clean when we arrived. The only thing we wished was different was that we could've used a few more supplies for the length of our trip. For example, dish towels, bath towels, paper towels. A basic supply of beach necessities would've been wonderful as well. Overall, it was a great location, and great place for us!

This house is more prepared to house a group who wants to party and dine out than a family who would want to prepare meals. The kitchen is full of dishes, but the cookware is hit or miss. There are very few spices in the cupboard. The refrigerator is completely empty, so bring your own everything. A washer and dryer are provided, but make sure to bring your own detergent. And watch the time if you use the dryer because it does not auto turn off. Communication with rental company was good, over text. Company provided replacement ping pong paddles and dishwasher detergent so we could run dishes before leaving. They responded quickly to A/C issue (within the hour). There were a few books and pieces of Uno, Yahtzee and cards…but not much else for entertainment other than TV. Beach is two blocks from the house, and we had to provide our own everything to go (bought beach towels, rented chairs/umbrellas). Used the house’s outdoor shower to rinse before coming inside. House was definitely clean, which is high priority for my family trips.

Amazing space! Loved he location and how kind the hosts were. Floors were slightly dirty and outdated, and the bed rooms could have used more storage for clothing. Also, the down stairs showerhead was broken. Otherwise it was the perfect stay!

This was our first time to Tybee island and BMH was fine. I should have read the description better. The pool is only available from 10-5pm and you have to walk to get to it. We rented this as our family of four beach vacation and I was looking forward to my boys being able to swim in the pool in the early morning and evenings. I also assumed a three minute walk would be to the part of the island you can swim at. It’s more of a seven to ten minute walk to the beach where you can swim. (3 mins to the back river.) The house was fine for our needs but I won’t be staying here again. It was more beat up than the pictures show. A lot of ant hills along the outside/ wiped away many inside the house. I would not recommend using the outdoor shower with littles as it was to buggy/overgrown to get too. If I was taking a vkay with friends this would be fine. I don’t recommend for a family with small children.
