The cabin and location was quiet and surrounded by tall trees that provide lots of shade. The screen porch is wonderful and you are close to the AuSable river and town of Mio. The parking is tight depending on the size vehicle you have.

Check in was effortless. Kitchen was not very well equipped, but we were only there for 3 nights, so we managed. The bed was quite uncomfortable, the mattress had way outlived it’s lifespan. That was our biggest problem. And prior guests must have had a dog, because there was tufts of dog fur everywhere. It was rustic, which we liked, but I think some upgrades should be done.
