First off, the location was amazing. I was a little worried about the property’s proximity to train tracks, but there are maybe 3 trains that pass by all day. Plus it was great for viewing the railroad bridge in Buzzard’s Bay go up and down. Easy walk over the bridge to beautiful Buzzard’s Bay Park which has concerts, a splash pad and workout area. Short walk to great restaurants like East Wind Lobster and Grill. Easy drive to Stop and Shop for groceries. Only complaint was that there were a lot of ants in the house, but it didn’t stop me from enjoying my vacation. Outdoor area is substantial with three small decks. The backyard could use a little landscaping and TLC, but still a great place to sip morning coffee. The owner was super responsive to all of my needs. If I am ever back in the area, I would love to stay here again. Definitely outstanding value for the money. I was with my wife, 16 year old son and 13 and 10 year old daughters.

I know that it's peak season and a good location, but I found this place to be very lacking in comfort for the price. No end tables anywhere to comfortably rest a drink or phone on. A broken recliner. An unusable, stopped up bathroom sink, a rotted, rusted out barbecue grill, dead flowers out front to greet you, noisy trains feet from the bedroom, throw pillows still proudly displaying their WalMart tags, broken kitchen sink stopper (no dishwasher, so that made doing dishes difficult), trip hazards with uneven floors and a view that can't be seen if you sit down. There were things that I liked about the place and probably would have given it a much better rating if I'd paid 1/3 of what I ultimately paid for it.
