We enjoyed a wonderful week on Cape Cod and really enjoyed this vacation home in Chatham. The home was very comfortable and exactly as described and depicted on the website. It was clean, well-appointed (including linens, towels, soap, TP, dish detergent, paper towels - all the essentials), everything worked, and the check-out process was very easy. DelMar made the experience akin to staying at a hotel, with the comfort of a home to ourselves. I would highly recommend. Thanks!

Positives: the rental company was great with communication. The house was perfectly clean and the location was great. Close to everything we needed and local beaches/attractions. The house is decorated very nicely. Negatives: unless you have zero sense of smell this home will only sleep 5. The basement apartment has such an intensely horrible musty smell that it’s not usable. This effectively ruined the weekend for 1/3 of our party who decided to drive back home 2.5 hours on their first day rather than sleep there. This was despite our best efforts to air it out, including running to the store for odor absorbing items and a scented candle. The company said they’d refund us 100 for our trouble, but honestly that wasn’t a help to our family members who did not get to enjoy staying multiple nights and ended up with a painfully long day trip. Also worth noting, this wouldn’t be a good option for someone who needs to work remotely from the home while staying there as the internet was slow. Lastly, the mattress in the first floor bedroom was among the worst we’ve ever slept on. The boards supporting it kept falling out in the middle of the night and it sagged in the middle. We slept terribly the whole time we were there. Overall: if they could fix that mattress issue the house would be a decent rental for five due to its great location and cleanliness.
