Uersfeld is an ideal starting point for excursions to the Ulmener Maar (8 km), Cochem on the Moselle River with its famous Reichsburg Castle (24 km), the Schalkenmehrener Maar (19 km), Eltz Castle (34 km), and Lake Laach (34 km). One of the region's highlights is the Nürburgring, located approximately 17 km away. Explore the renowned Grand Prix circuit and experience the thrill of the "Green Hell." For the truly adventurous, we recommend a tourist drive on the famous Nordschleife (North Loop). Numerous well-marked hiking trails, such as the Historical Trail and various premium hiking routes, are available for active pursuits. A well-maintained cycle path also runs through Uersfeld, leading you all the way to Monreal (the filming location for "Der Bulle und das Landei"). For families, a visit to the Daun Wildlife and Adventure Park (25 km), the Klotten Wildlife and Leisure Park (20 km), the Holzberg Treehouse (3 km), and the Vulkanpark climbing forest in Mayen (20 km) are recommended.
