The Baltic Sea is right on your doorstep—just 25 meters away is the beautiful, fine-sand Südstrand beach with its boardwalk, the pier, and the 230-meter-long jetty. In the immediate vicinity, you’ll find the spa gardens, children’s playgrounds, shopping, restaurants, and cafés, as well as recreational activities, sights, and day-trip destinations. Hiking, biking, boating, a visit to the marina, the Ostsee-Therme, and the diverse events—such as the popular Promenade Festival—are particularly popular, as are trips to Hansapark and the island of Fehmarn.
