Whitewashed 3-bedroom Cycladic home with sea and sunset views, in quiet countryside in the south-west of Paros. Alyki’s family beaches, tavernas and fishing harbour are a 5-minute drive away, and the airport is 15 minutes.
The house
The villa is on two floors, so parents and children can each have their own space.
Upstairs: a queen bedroom with its own shower room. It opens onto two sun terraces with deck chairs and views across the sea to the neighbouring islands, the best spot for morning coffee, yoga and sunset drinks.
Ground floor: a king bedroom with doors straight onto the garden terrace, and a kids’ room with a built-in Cycladic bunk beds (two full-size mattresses), toys, books and a TV. Grown ups love sleeping here too!
Living area: an open-plan kitchen and living room with a fireplace, sofa, board games and doors out to the dining terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped, with an oven, hob, coffee makers, a blender and plenty of plates and glasses.
Bathrooms: two, the en-suite upstairs and a family bathroom downstairs with a walk-in shower.
Outside
Most meals happen outdoors. The dining terrace is shaded by a pergola and bougainvillea, with built-in seating and a extendable dining table for up to 12.
There’s also:
A garden with paths and a small olive grove; sun loungers, trampoline, kids toys a hammock and a BBQ.
For families
a netted trampoline and children’s bikes;
a paddling pool;
a cot, high chair, baby bath and safety gates;
children’s plates, toys and books.
Practical
Starlink Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace.
Air conditioning, central heating and fans.
A washing machine, plus a utility building with a large freezer and room for luggage and beach gear.
