Welcome to the Sandbox located conveniently between the north and south beaches of the Outer Banks, designated Beach vacation of the year 2025 by Southern Living magazine. Across the street from the ocean providing gorgeous views and access at the end of the block. Walkable to the famous Jolly Roger restaurant and bar with karaoke. Target and a movie theater are at your back door. Close to the Wright Bros. museum, mini golf, go carts, fishing piers and too many wonderful restaurants to list. House was nice! It was clean and over a good fit for our family vacation. It was different to us that there was no cleaning supplies at the house. The outside shower was not working and neither was the outside pool lights. The coffee pot was also chipped. We didnt use the yard, just the pool area. We apricate the beach chairs and cart although they were not in the best condition. The pool was great! its not very deep so it was great for my youngest. We do wish there would have been a pool float or pool toys. We liked that there was kids cups and dishes. The kids room was a great fit for our three kids. House is in a great location. It is a difficult walk to the beach with no sidewalk. There are lots of games and books at the house for rainy days.

We had a wonderful stay at The Sandbox! It is a very well-thought out home with lots of ceiling fans (indoors and out) and an outdoor retractable awning near the pool. The location is easily walkable to both the beach and Target. The home is bright and welcoming and the ocean views are lovely. We all enjoyed the pool and hot tub, too. One suggestion might be to add a large door mat inside the lower level doors. The tiles get slippery with washed-off feet. The reality company was awesome! We had a few maintenance issues and their response was quick and appreciated. It was a great vacation!

We had a wonderful stay at The Sandbox, conveniently located in walking distance to the beach. I would NOT recommend this property to anyone who has dogs due to the high volume of sandspurs in the backyard, making it unusable. Other than that, The Sandbox was the perfect home base for my family.
