It can accommodate up to 6 people and consists of a lower level featuring a living room with a sofa bed (two single beds), a bathroom with a shower, a dining area, and a flat-screen TV; the kitchen is equipped with an oven, microwave, 2 gas burners, 2 induction burners, a kettle, refrigerator, freezer, and all necessary dishes. The kitchen also includes a washing machine. On the upper floor, there are two double bedrooms with sea views, each featuring individual air conditioning, an en-suite bathroom, and a screen door, plus one small bedroom with a sea view, a sofa bed, and a toilet. From this floor, you can access the panoramic balcony and a terraced garden furnished with chairs and a table—the perfect spot for outdoor dining or sunbathing while enjoying the splendid view of Amalfi. Just a few steps from Piazza del Municipio is the tunnel leading to the elevator that takes you to the panoramic area of Sant’Antonio, the most beautiful and sunniest spot in Amalfi. As you step out of the elevator, a breathtaking panorama unfolds before your eyes: the expanse of Amalfi’s rooftops, the blue sea and beaches, the cathedral’s bell tower, and the entire Gulf of Salerno. Just a few steps away is the entrance to the house. The main elevator is public and requires a fee; upon arrival, each guest will be provided with a prepaid magnetic card for the elevator, which includes three rides.
In just a few minutes from the house, you can reach Amalfi’s main beaches; the closest is Marina Grande, featuring restaurants, bars, four beach clubs equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas, and a free public area. Just a few steps away is the central Piazza Duomo, home to the cathedral and the ancient Cloister Paradiso. In this area, you’ll find all the main shops, bars, and restaurants, and if you continue walking toward the mountain, you can reach the Valle delle Ferriere Nature Reserve in just a few minutes. Adjacent to Piazza Duomo is Piazza dei Dogi, a very small and charming square that is home to a supermarket, a pharmacy, a greengrocer, a general store, and various restaurants with outdoor seating. Walking from the center toward the port, you’ll reach the waterfront, where you’ll find the ferry ticket offices and the central bus station serving all destinations. In the port area, there are two excellent restaurants with terraces overlooking the water.
From the central pier in Amalfi (150 meters from the elevator), you can board ferries to Positano, the islands of Capri and Ischia (during the summer season), or take an excursion to the Grotta dello Smeraldo or other destinations along the coast.
