Ocean over lagoon front views from the lanai (balcony), you are so close you will hear the ocean and watch the waves come sideways into the lagoon below. Hale Kona Kai is a small complex of 3 dozen absolute oceanfront condos in town but off the beaten path! Located on a quiet side street (75-5870 Kahakai Road) and just a short block walk to the village of Kailua-Kona also known as Kona Town. Hale Kona Kai is only 1/4 block walk to Honl's white sand beach and a 2 block walk to the Kona Farmers Market.
This condo is managed by an on-site licensed office by Kona Now Hawaii Rentals. We have a hospitality office right by the elevator ready to help you and make your dream vacation in paradise special.
All condos are non-smoking. Hale Kona Kai is a non-smoking facility. Each floor has coin-operated washers and dryers for your use. Each condo does not have its own washer/dryer.

Better than average cooking utensils, poots, pans, etc. We stayed 50 days and cook almost all the time.Elevator!Easy walk to south end of Kona village.Wonderful view.Loved it.

Perfect! Condo was super clean, great views, and had everything we needed! Everyone was very helpful and friendly!! It was a great stay!

The property itself is great. This is the 4th time we've stayed (or tried to stay) in this complex. We rely heavily on A/C and didn't know/weren't told that the A/C for the whole building went out about a week before we got there. There was no note in the unit and we got in after a long travel day to a hot, stuffy condo. FORTUNATELY, we found an office person still on the grounds (who wasn't there officially) who enlightened us and tried hard to help with our first night. She also alerted the manager who was in almost immediate contact the next morning. We moved properties to something completely different but with A/C.Disappointed to lose the first 24 hrs of our stay with this problem solving but a very acceptable alternative was provided. We'd stay at this very condo in the future once the building A/C system is dependable. (They're working on it. It has a new system but it needs some parts.)
