We’d love to welcome you to this beautiful and tastefully renovated home! Here, you’ll find peace and space. The home is located along the canal and the main road from Alkmaar to Den Helder.
The apartment is centrally located, close to the beach, the dunes, Alkmaar, Schagen, and Texel. From the rooftop terrace, you’ll enjoy a stunning view of the Hondsbosch seawall and the surrounding farmland.
From the entryway, you enter the living room with a fully equipped kitchen and a sitting area featuring a sofa, TV, pellet stove, and a table with six chairs. The first floor also includes a toilet and a washer-dryer combo. Upstairs are three bedrooms, a bathroom, and a separate toilet. One bedroom has access to the rooftop terrace with panoramic views.
The house includes a storage shed for bicycles.
A high chair and crib are available upon request; the maximum occupancy is plus 2 infants up to 2 years old.

The property is well equipped with everything you need and as described in the listing. Hosts were friendly and good communication from booking onwards. A good location for exploring North Holland. 10 Min drive to beach and 15 min to Alkmaar. The house is next to the main road, but with good sound proofing windows it did not disturb sleep. Parking was easy with spaces outside on the street. The roof terrace is lovely with views over the countryside (and a windmill in the distance!) Overall a very pleasant stay and would recommend.

We (Family of 5) had a wonderful and relaxing time. Despite the bad weather, we missed out on nothing. Very pleasant communication with Carmen and Dennis, everything was uncomplicated and smooth. Highly recommended

It was our first time visiting the area and we were impressed.
The hosts: Carmen and Dennis: - super friendly and nice, welcoming and doing their best to make us feel good.
The house: super clean, fully equiped with what you need (thanks for the wine!), spacious and cozy. And the roof terace!!!
The location: walking distance to Petten, biking to Schoorl and Schoorlse duinen and it is in the middle of the tulip fields. Definitely will come back in April/May again!
The area: there are sea, beach, dunes, forest, canals, farms, gardens, Schoorl and Petten, Schagen. You don't need Alkmaar or Den Helder, the area is offering so many places to explore, enjoy and have fun!
Thanks for having us Carmen and Dennis, it was a great pleasure for us! You made happy even our grumpy teens :)
