We have never stayed in Canon City before, this house was the perfect place for us! It was a family getaway and there was plenty of space for everyone! (honestly if the host wanted to they could utilize the open space upstairs for another bed or two) BUT the ample space is what we needed as a family! Location wise - it was right around the corner from main street where there were different food options (pizza madness was awesome, whitewater social was fun as well). There was a pet store, nail place, shops, ice cream shop, and yoga studio that if we had more time we wanted to visit. The river was down the road where we could just park and walk over to let the kids play in the river and then the park was right there as well. Such a great area for our kids of all ages. The house itself was clean and they provided almost everything we needed. Advice to future travelers (if you plan to go to the river or use multiple towels at shower time :) Maybe bring a couple extra towels). The backyard was so inviting and set up where the adults could relax and have our coffee/drink while the kids played basketball/soccer and just hung out! There was a pool type situation but it was locked. The laundry access was great as we could wash our clothes after being out and about or down at the river all day. We did not have to travel back with dirty clothing. The host provided the most adorable bathroom amenities. Overall we had so much fun and the house was honestly perfect for us!

We loved this house! The decor was fabulous, it was well-equipped with everything travelers would need or want in a rental, and so close to really quaint downtown area, as well as grocery stores and restaurants. Communication with the host/representative was very quick. I know I’ll be back!

Really enjoyed our sister getaway. The house is very charming with so many value added items provided. Highly recommend the place. Enjoyed walking to restaurants and church.
