O tym ten wynajem wakacyjny
Bosuns Cottage is a pretty detached thatched cottage overlooking the village green in Winterton-on-Sea. It provides a perfect place for a holiday, or a getaway at any time of year. As well as being five minutes stroll from the beach, Bosuns Cottage is close to all the village amenities including the local pub, fish & chip shop, Seal View cafe, post office and village shop.
The spacious living area spans the length of the left side of the property with comfortable seating for six with sofas and armchairs. There is a modern electric fire and Smart TV with Sky (including Sky Sports), Netflix and a DVD player. This continues into the bright and airy kitchen and dining areas which overlook the pretty garden. The well equipped kitchen has a high level electric oven, hob, Nespresso machine, slow cooker, under counter fridge and full size dishwasher. There is an additional fridge/freezer and washer/dryer in the garage. There is a large oak dining table and chairs. Access to the garden is through the double patio doors.
With two double bedrooms, Bosun's Cottage is suitable for up to four adults (no children allowed). The downstairs en-suite bedroom has a king-size bed and plenty of storage. There is also private access to the garden. The en suite has a walk in shower, WC and basin. The garage is accessed through the downstairs bedroom. A further downstairs shower room is to the right of the front door. Upstairs there is a further king-size bedroom overlooking the green. There is a wardrobe, drawers and dressing table.
At the rear of the cottage the back garden has two areas: a patio with garden furniture, and then steps lead down to a pretty lawn area planted with shrubs and trees. The back garden is fully enclosed and safe for dogs - two small/medium dogs are welcome and the beach is only a 5 minute walk away. Dogs are welcome in the downstairs living areas, but we kindly ask that they are kept off the furniture. There is an outside tap at the front of the cottage for washing sandy paws! Off road parking for two cars is at the front of the cottage on the driveway. Please note for security reasons, CCTV covers the driveway to the property.

Very homely and comfortable cottage. Well equipped kitchen, owner has thought of everything you could possibly need. We slept extremely well despite the heat . We had fantastic weather and we spent time in the beautiful dog proof enclosed garden before we went to the beach later in the day . We had a very lazy time just chilling out , it was too hot to do anything else . This is our third time to Winterton and we certainly will be coming back .
One thing I would recommend is a sunset cruise from Horning on the Southern Comfort Mississippi boat, thoroughly enjoyed it and very good value. The Broads are worth visiting. Seal watching, beautiful beaches all round the Norfolk coast. Southwold is only an hours drive away. So many places to visit.

Bosuns Cottage is in a central position in Winterton easily accessible with parking off road for 2 cars. We had 2 dogs and the secure garden was essential. The cottage was very well equipped, comfy and the welcome pack very generous. The garden had 4 relaxing chairs as well as a table and other seats with sun umbrella which came in useful as we had a week of sunshine
We would return and would recommend to others.

As you walk in the door Bosuns Cottage has an immediate homely feel to it. It is very light & airy with comfortable furnishings. The kitchen has everything you might need and is spotlessly clean.
Position wise it’s ideal , walking distance to pub, shop, chippy and the beach. The owners were very helpful with arrival/departure. We loved this cottage and will be back.

What a gorgeous cottage in a perfect setting.
The owners made our stay really easy from letting us know when the cottage was ready to even messaging to tell us we'd left something behind after our stay!
A lovely welcome pack was left for us, which was a great touch!
The cottage has everything you could need and is nicely set out, very comfortable!
We would definitely stay here again!
Winterton it self is a little gem! Great pub, fish n chip shop, little general stores, lovely tea room and the beach right on your doorstep!
We had the perfect stay!
