Very family friendly stay. Overall everything was clean. Some of the bathrooms had grout or edges that showed a bit of age and dirt. The upstairs fridge ran warm for the first day but luckily there was a downstairs fridge and the hosts were responsive to our concerns. The upstairs loft area runs hot during the summer so when assigning sleeping arrangements keep that in mind. Great location to the national park, caverns, and even the town is a short drive away

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hemsley Hollow Lodge. It exceeded our expectations. We utilized the hot tub, the fire pit, the many decks, the grill and the outdoor tables for dinner. The view from the living room and decks are amazing. Just being away our busy lives was so relaxing. The water was excellent to drink and bathe. A big thumbs up from our family.

This was a beautiful, large home and it was perfect for our family and the groomsmen preparing for a wedding in the area. We found that there were ample utensils, plates and cups. The firepit and the pool table were a hit!! The only thing I might add was that perhaps a warning within the write up on VRBO about using more than 3 water sources at once within the house might be provided. We were able to manage successfully, but only had 13 people...if there was a larger number of people all trying to get ready for an important event such as a wedding - not using more than 2 or 3 showers at once might pose a problem. We made sure to stagger ours and had luckily seen the warning and managed to not lose water availability. I just wonder at the stress level for those that might not see the sign or have 20 people in the house all preparing for a timed event. I can foresee that maybe being a problem. Other than that, I would return in a heartbeat to this wonderful home!

We loved your home and location! We had a few issues, including two very dirty grills (with food parts left behind). We called and you sent someone up right away, however, did just a mediocre job at cleaning. We ended up cleaning both extensively ourselves. The closets were unusable until we cleaned them as well. The outdoor waterpark was not open yet and most of the indoor park (the kids section) was shut down for renovations. You should state on your listing that you need to contact the waterpark ahead of time to inquire about closings.
