Beautiful apartment house "Rose". On the outskirts, 700 m from the centre, in a sunny position on a slope, south-west facing position. In the house: central heating system. The apartment was spacious. The view from the porch was incredible. The check-in process was complicated by very last minute instructions which caused us some worry. The location is down some steep hills so you must climb back up to go into town. The area around the apartment was beautiful and tranquil.

Visited this chalet 9 years ago and very happy to return. As good as we remembered it. Chalet always warm and cosy but even managed to have lunch on balcony overlooking THAT view down the valley. Lovely luxury to have Nespresso coffee. Also nice to be able to use the TV to watch downloaded stuff from our ipad. WiFi excellent. Had sunshine and plenty of snow so able to use our Walking Pass to the full. Very useful having downhill walk to Wengwald for access to all trains.

We enjoyed this chalet very much as it had everything we needed! The views were amazing from every window and from the balcony. We would definitely stay there again when we visit Wengen.
