Each room with its own vibe. Enjoy the best Ft. Worth has to offer including The Stockyards, Sundance Square and more. Cowtown Brewery and Tias Mexican food restaurant are a 3 minute walk from your front door. Want to relax? It can be just as fun to stay home and enjoy a drink out back in the cowboy pool. The house was recently updated, however the structure is from 1915 and some small details have not been perfected to keep the charm.
The space
We designed FW Blackhouse exclusively for our Airbnb travelers and have included all of the amenities needed for your stay.
+ Two Queen-sized memory foam beds
+ Full-sized memory foam bunk beds
+ The comfiest Full-sized memory foam
+ Dressers and hanging in bedrooms
+ Wall-mounted Roku television in the living room
+ High-speed internet throughout the house.
+ Fully stocked kitchen (appliances, dinnerware, and cooking utensils)
+ Keurig and traditional coffee maker for bottomless coffee
+ Clean restroom with shower, toilet, sink, and storage shelves
+ Private laundry room with full washer and dryer + 10 foot “ cowboy” stock tank pool in backyard . 8 foot outdoor gathering dining table with seating for 8, fire pit area with 4 chairs along with 5 additional Adirondack chairs. Commercial overhead light strands for night time entertainment. + Fun and games: corn hole, hoola-hoops, pool float, rechargeable Bluetooth speaker. + phone and usb charging outlet and sound machine in bedrooms
Guest access
FW Blackhouse is an entirely separate space accessed by custom key code. During your time here, you will have access to the full kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom, bedrooms, and laundry room. A large fully fenced backyard entertainment area with 10 foot stock tank pool, dining area and fire pit area. The house will be yours and yours alone.
Other things to note
+ 3-day minimum.
+ Our entire property is 100% smoke-free. +Ft. Worth train lines run through downtown area, and are adjacent to the Black House, so the sounds of the train tracks will be a part of the ambiance.
+ There are minimal houses around the FW Black house. It is an up and coming urban area neighborhood with a few older homes awaiting renovation and might seem a bit isolated but is perfectly safe. PLEASE READ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION UNDER WHERE YOU WILL BE SECTION.
+ the listing is also used as an event space, there are cameras outside and in the public area downstairs where events are usually held

Rooms were clean and house is super cute. We did have trouble with hornets around the pool and on the porches, which the owner did come and try to take those nests down the last day we were there. We also had a little bit of trouble with the pool getting dirty, even though we didn’t wear any sunscreen or use bug spray. And when I spoke to the owner about it, he mentioned that it disconnected from the cellular monitoring service so he wasn’t aware that the pH balance was off. It was fixed pronto once he knew about the issue . And somehow, whether this was my mistake or not, I missed the fact that a train track is literally 30 yards from the house. So if you’re a light sleeper, this place is probably not for you. Our kids thought the train was awesome until it came through at 4:45 AM every morning. Everything else was great, location is perfect to be able to access any events, you have going on downtown. The house is centrally located so it’s really easy to jump on and off any expressway to go on any direction. We really enjoyed it, and even with the trains, will probably stay there again next time we’re in Fort Worth for gymnastics.

We recently visited Fort Worth, Texas, and stayed at the BlackHouse, and it was a fantastic experience. The house was clean, comfortable, and very accommodating for our group size. It had everything we needed, and the setup made it easy for everyone to relax and enjoy the stay.Omar was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire process, which made everything smooth and stress free. The location was also a big plus, easy to find and conveniently accessible to nearby attractions and amenities.Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend staying here.
