Your CommentsOur stay at Blue Crush was good. At this price point it really should be “excellent”. The house was adequately furnished and in good shape on the inside. We utilized 8 of the 10 bedrooms and there were no complaints. There was a lot of room for everyone to enjoy themselves while inside without tripping over each other, etc. The elevator was an added bonus as it helped transport baggage and groceries (kitchen is on the third floor). This was a family vacation and so we cooked dinner every evening for everyone. We were able to fit everyone around the two tables, combined, but note that if you have more than 15 people, this may not be possible. The pool is in good shape and was a good place to hang when returning from the beach or in the evenings. Beds were comfortable but at this price point they could be upgraded. The WiFi worked “fairly” well but once you got to the upper level, it was spotty at best. One would argue that you’re not here to use the WiFi, but it is 2026 and WiFi connections are not only a reality, but also a necessity. Kitchen appliances were average. Not all the burners were operational on the two stoves, but having two stoves/ovens in the main kitchen was a plus (since we cooked for 15 every night). Multiple fridges/freezers were located throughout the house, again another bonus. But, as experiences in our previous trips to the OBX, one of the main fridges/freezers broke down and even though it was reported, it was never fixed during our stay.

Love the location, Love the house but needs a little work, the main kitchen island had no electrical power, the dining room ceiling looks like it had a leaking pipe above it a one point and the ceiling needs repaired, the cornhole boards are broken into pieces and just laying around makes the place look trashy, saw several cockroaches during our visit, one of the 3 toasters worked and the one that worked only one side of did not work. I would recommend placing house maker at the beach entrance so your clients can easily locate there way back to the house.
