Anyone staying at the Svalbard (Spitsbergen) apartment need not worry about Arctic cold—quite the opposite, in fact. The wooden furniture and
paneling in warm brown tones lend this vacation home a generous dose of coziness. Here, the living room and bedroom have been cleverly combined, so the sleeping area transitions seamlessly into the TV corner. The kitchen is located in a separate room and offers enough space for a dining table—though, of course, when the weather is nice, there’s nothing wrong with enjoying breakfast on the sunny south-facing balcony.

Vacationing in a prime location: Apartment Svalbard is situated on a plot set back from the street. Downtown Westerland is just a five-minute walk away, as is the Himmelsleiter beach section. There’s a bus stop right around the corner, and the train station is a 15-minute walk away.
