Located in the heart of Varenna, the apartment is overlooking the old harbor, with a spectacular view of the lake, fully enjoyable from the large balcony. The apartment has just been re-furnished and consists of: kitchen, air conditioning, living room with fireplace, bathroom with washing machine, 2 double bedrooms, accommodating up to 4 people. All premises (bars, restaurants, shops, public services) are close at hand, within 100 meters. Even the means of transport are easily accessible on foot.

Alberto was great. Met us in the central square and walked us to our place. Pointed out a number of cool things along the way especially restaurants. His place is in a perfect location.

Casa Bacone was the ideal apartment to enjoy my three night stay in Varenna. The apartment was spacious and well appointed. I was able to cook and also grab takeaway meals from some of the best restaurants only steps away. A very quiet, comfortable sleep. Whenever I see photos of Varenna from now on, I will see my glorious little apartment right on the waterfront, and relive my happy days in this beautiful town.

Location was FABULOUS..fully equipped, plenty of local shops and restaurants nearby. Ferry to Menaggio and Billaggio close by. Only minor thing was the property is a bit dated and needs mattress replacement. But all in all, am pleased. Really enjoyed my time in Varenna and on Lake Como!

Wonderful location and view. Alberto, very helpful and available. Bedroom windows need real curtains to prevent neighbors from watching you undress. And the shower doors don’t close all the way, so you have to shower holding a handheld showerhead making sure you point it away from the gap in the doors or else you’ll get water all over the bathroom floor.
